Once you arrive
at Day Surgery International or Singapore Day Surgery Center, our friendly nursing staff will go thorough a routine admission check with you. Our nursing staff will discuss your medical/surgical history, take your vital signs, and answer your questions. The staff will attempt to alleviate any anxiety you may have and give you an idea of what to expect with reference to your surgery.
After that is done, you will be called into the Day Surgery Admission Suite. You will be asked to remove all clothing, including undergarments and jewellery. We will provide you with a gown, robe, cap, and slippers that you will wear during your stay. You will be assigned a personal locker in which you will place your belongings. The key can be secured to your identification bracelet or given to your escort.
Personal belongings such as dentures, hearing aides, glasses, contact lenses and piercings should also be removed prior to going into the Operating Theatre.

Our operating rooms features state of the art data ports, advanced video capabilities and a variety of standard mounted equipment. The hepa air filtration ventilation system allows for a fresh supply of clean air to ensure a surgically clean environment at all times.

Endoscopy rooms are equipped with surgical equipment including GI endoscopes, bronchoscopes, video and camera systems. |

The recovery bays at both our centres are equipped with oxygen outlets, face masks, breathing systems, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitoring, ECG, suction units, a fully equipped anaesthetic machine with ventilator, drugs and intravenous fluids. Patients are constantly monitored by the nurses on duty to ensure that they receive the best care possible. For added patient support and comfort, the room has a plasma TV for patients to watch their favourite channels. |

Our aim is to deliver a high standard of care to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We have 2 private units of 2 bedded rooms which are fully funished with individual plasma tvs, telephones and drawer units. |
