Modern surgery techniques combined with state of the art equipment allows every suitable procedure to be completed on a convenient day surgery basis. Day Surgery International is an 11,000 square feet centre and boasts 8 operating theatres on the 16th floor of Paragon. Singapore Day Surgery Centre spans 10,000 square feet, spread across the entire 5th floor of Camden Medical Centre with 7 operating theatres. All operation theatres are equipped with HEPA air filtration systems which guarantee excellent air quality during procedures with stringent tests for bacterial counts, particle counts and air exchange rates meeting and surpassing international clean room/OT standards even for major surgeries. A total of 4 Endoscopy rooms are equipped with surgical equipment including GI endoscopes, bronchoscopes, video and camera systems. Observation wards and private rooms are equipped for complete patient monitoring and comfort. Patient safety is not compromised, and our two fully equipped ICU beds ensure that every eventuality has been catered for. Arrangements have been made for transfer to nearby hospitals in the event that patients require overnight stay.
